Colleagues from University of Zagreb School of Veterinary Medicine Clinics for Surgery, Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology to participate in Osteogrow project pre-clinical studies

The expertise in pre-clinical studies of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine OSTEOGROW team, led by Prof. Slobodan Vukičević and Prof. Lovorka Grgurević, will be enforced by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Veterinary Medicine experts headed by Prof. Boris Pirkić and Prof. Dražen Matičić from the Clinics for Surgery, Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology. The Veterinary Team will be participating in the safety evaluation animal studies of the OSTEOGROW device, within the OSTEOGROW WP2 "Toxicology testing", before entering clinical phase I studies in humans. The newly equipped and completely updated Clinic (http://www.vef.unizg.hr/org/kirurgija/?p=1638&lang=en) with the state of the art technology and its dedicated experts, capable of executing the most demanding operations, will contribute to the best possible standard for the OSTEOGROW pre-clinical studies.
